Righty I have always wanted to do up a new banner for my blog, and give it some changes. So anyhooo, i did one up like a few nights ago, and decided to shift my blog.

Blerghhh.. Yonks and yonks since i last updated. Have been preoccupied with school, there's so much to do, and what with this being the last semster, you just want to spur on further and do the best.
I really really do not like pdm at all. I truely wish i had not taken that subject, but I balanced out my options and between Nd and PDM, i guess in the end pdm would still have been the better choice.
Seriously, nd is just some nuclear bomb in the making. I don't really foresee myself going very far there. But neither is pdm going smoothly for me. So i can only hope re-doing the log book nicely can earn me some much deserved credits there.
And the good thing is, term test is over. I hope i can pass the pdm test. Everything i studied for didnt come out. Stupid application question.

And then on that day after the last paper, i went out to kbox at marina square with nessa, huiling, chunie, yean fang and oh shit i forgot her name, woopsiee.. XD.
I really really have not been listening to any new chinese songs. I mean seriously, its like, mando pop is so over for me now, there's nthin really interesting to listen to, except for few occasional songs here and there. God i'm so OLD!!!
So there. But apparently, loads of people from our course must have decided to unwind at marina square kobx too becuz we met so many of them. I mean, is marina square such a hotspot?! Still, it was nice to bump into familiar faces. And huiling was rather excited to learn that some campus superstar participants were in the next room.
I mean, blerghhh... And the winner was that hamster looking guy yea?
And we kinda cheated the kbox people, since they were too busy, or rather, too lazy to take note that chunie was the extra 6th member who joined us in between and therefore, our bill came down to like 11 bucks per person. All those times it felt as if kbox had overcharged us with the usual 16 bucks per person charge. @#$%
And after that, i left the group becuz i had a dinner appointment with mother. She wanted to buy christmas presents, but the real reason was becuz she was eyeing this mp4 player and simply had to go down there to snag the good deal. I'm bascially her luggage carrier.
But we had dinner at country mana. I really love dining at country mana, and it has been like 1 year since i went back there to eat! They have this quaint self-playing piano, which if u ask me, can be truely eeire since there's no one playing but the little keys are just dancing on their own. But anyhoo, more importantly, i love their famous puff pastries.
Ok, the pastries are placed over the soup. I remembered eating it for the first time when i was like 12, and i fell in love with it. I really cannot describe the feeling, becuz the soup is just mushroom soup, but eating it with the pastries is just so good.
For one, i don't eat my soup with croutons. Yuckie.
Lightings were rather dimmed since we sat at this corner. It looks like some mushroom head!! But believe me, you have to try it. Mother didn't have any soup becuz she didnt want any carbo that night. So she only had boring buffalo wings.
I had the soup and oxtail with baked rice.
I cant rememeber the name of this place where i ate oxtail with sphagetti, its somewhere on a previously posted entry, but i'm so darn lazy to check. So just to change i decided to have it with butter rice.
Mother stole some of the butter rice and oxtail before i could take a picture. ><
And we washed the meal down with brownie and ice crream. Mother's fault for loading me up. She's a bad influence. She's always wanting to have dessert. XD
And then on friday, i attended the SIFST student party. The so called dress codes was utter bullshit. Good thing i turned up in a shirt and skirt.
And the mc for the night was really sucky!! I mean, she was from sp i think, and she was horrible, trying to make some jokes but failing miserably. And then she dragged 'fatimah' up to crack jokes which, i believe, has mortified the other schools into thinking that our school are for losers. Why fatimah and not zuan!!!! arghhh
So anyhooo, it was still a good night. The activities were not very well planned, but we had fun that night. Hahaha, the best has got to be the uber lame string it game, and zin's expression was priceless as she tied whye keat's smelly socks, complete with a huge hole, onto the string. God, that was so freaking hilarious!!
And then lucky me won something at the lucky draw. Zuan won something too, but he was upset that he did not win the ipod shuffle and sour-graped the fact by saying he already has a nano. Indeed.
Ha! And then today, well not being rude, but i heard some ntu choir performing at whitesands today,and they were rather dreadful, to say the least. Out of tune, no bass, weird solo voices floating out of nowehere, my mother made a face and said she reckoned my old secondary school choir sounded better.
I hate the choir. I'm so sorry, but being in the secondary school choir has truely killed off any last lingering love i have for singing. I almost wish i had joined something more worthwhile. I mean if i had joined some althetic sports club then i would be in top shape. Then again, i would be looking like an indian from all the running under the sun so i'll take back what i just said.

I guess i don't really update the blog regularly now, since so much's happened, and plus, i'm so freaking busy with school work. It's like, i'm trying my best to really enjoy this last semester of school, and yes, it is fun, every now and than, but projects are a fucking pain in the ass.
Ok, so maybe i'm not looking at the bigger picture, but i really want to enjoy this last sem, before i graduate, and prolly get out there, looking for some job with measly pay, or enrol myself for further studies. Further studies is a very big issue since academic grades play such a big role. Damn it.

Had a great time, i found something super cute and nice, which i loved a lot, and bought it for zin zin's birthday present. Seriously, if she can't love something like that, then all the cuteness in the world should be dead. Better yet, i wouldn't mind keeping it.
It was a tad bit expensive, but it was such a nice little.. acks, mustn't ruin it. It's super cute. Any girl, with a tinge of feminism, should love it. Hell, even guys like it. Well, they think its cute too. I asked for opinions, so tested; proven.

Question : Why are the James bond characters forever above 40 years old? They never do get a 20+ years old bond do they? no, they had to get the oldie looking ones. To hell with the sayings that women are attracted to old man. I guess kissing wrinkly skins and lips are in every females' wishlist.
Ok, about the movie, i'll admit, it was my first time, watching a 007 movie. I have never seen those older 007 movies not even [ die another day]. But i guess that's why when i had this extremely low expectation, hell i thought i would fall asleep in there, which really is fine by me since i did not pay to watch.
But yes, the movie was good. I just didn't know that 007 enjoys killing people in ruthless manners. Well, i don't really care. There are some good torture scenes in there. Woohoo. That director has one wicked mind. I wonder if those are his fetishes. Bahaha. Well, if you catch it, you'll get what i mean.
Anyhoo, mother feels that roger moore was the best james bond character ever, and hated sean connery. All i can say is, i don't like them both. But i'd agree that sean's worse.

I left zin zin's place around 10pm, and she accompanied me to the bus interchange to wait for bus 53.
It felt kinda weird, i mean, normally, it would be me and yang, leaving her house together, and we'll both sit bus 53 back home where he'll send me home before he embarks on his own journey home.
The whole journey back was unbearably quiet. I don't really think i'll be popping down to zin zin's place any time soon.

It was exactly one month before that faithful day when yang left us all..
And somehow during the journey home, i started to cry...
The days are so tiring now.. even though this semster is fully based on non-examinable subjects, projects are just plain hideous and a pain in the ass.
I can't believe my group was so lucky as to get the important stint for fsm. I mean, of all days, it had to be that day when the advisory committees decides to come down and have a slice of our pie. Just great...
Pdm isn't going to be easy since we're all scattered across the directions, and its really hard to focus when you are in a group you didn't choose to be in, but so far so good, and i have to say, better a group which can still work together than having anal people who are full of lame excuses.
Major project.. oh well, nuff said... ice-cream rocks.
Anyhoo, i went to catch the movie; the convenant on wednesday. I love the music. Well for the opening credits. The movie's opening credits resembled something out of a serial drama, coolness.
The movie's got some pretty cool graphics, they were awesome, but somehow, they have some really lame takes which should have been taken out, becuz they were just plain redundant. AND, what's with the whole dragon ball fighting shitz?
They are suppose to have some sort of powerful limitless power, and all they could do was to conjure up random bubble balls to hurl at one another?! What ever happened to fire, water, lightning, electricity, and all those random shit stuff you get when you watch movies like superman and x-men?
Hell, those movies had their limitations, but if you get a plot whereby the characters have like limitless amounts of power, at least do something that will blow us away. Oh wow, water bubbles!
And what happens after the main character ascended and obtained his dad's powers? He made BIGGER water bubbles. I was so blown away...
And the ending sucked. Booooo. And the female character was redundant. Should have killed her off. Still, it was a good movie, if you can look pass the little nitbits and are looking for eye candy. Oh, and another thing i love about the movie, Butt scenes!!! *glomps asses*
Oh and i have watched finished the entire season 1 of prison break. It was just awesome! Can someone please hug the scriptwriters who came up with the whole prison plot?! It was just incredible! I mean, that season sure didn't have me bored, every episode was so addictive. It just sucks every bit of your soul into every episode, making you really crave for more when its over.
Shitz, and i only just downloaded season 2's first episode and already it was too yummy for words.
Thinking back to the other drama series you normally catch, i'll say pb have really taken my attention. Charmed only had me hooked for like a few episodes in its pilot season, desperate housewifes had me till somewhere in the middle, lost was horrible, and i lost it by the 2nd episode.
You really need that addictible flavour and pb has it all. Eye candy and the greatest plot ever.

School's reopening like tomorrow, but it felt like i've been going back to school for such a long time, since mp's started.
It's like the last semster and I'm pretty fed-up just thinking about what am i to do after graduation. Daddy says that the newspapers hardly have any job openings with whatever i'm studying, and that the only thing sustainable/ worth doing is research and development work, which requires a degree.
Whatever, i hate thinking about the 'future'
So, anyway, majoy projects just got dulling now that yang's gone. I mean, now zin zin and I are stuck with doing EVERYTHING ourselves. I think its pretty pressurizing, since our group's now handicapped, but everything's being going well, compared to some other obsessed/crazed groups.
I've been having a few crazy obessions myself these few days.
The death note movie was a blast. I loved it all, especially L. Fujiwara would have ruined the whole show with his constipated acting, but thank god for kenichi. Then again, we having grumbling noads like nessa who insisted that L was too ugly for words. gehhhhhh
And... I've recently got myself obessed with prison break.
I thought it was some sucky show, because the reviews mentioned that the drama series would be something akin to 24; which sucked, so i assumed the worst with prison break, despite the fact that it received a LOT of positive comments.
I only caught the 4th episode 2 weeks ago on tv, and the pulling factor was HUGE. There was this suspence hanging, shrouded with loads of action and mystery. It got me hooked. I mean, you just had to know more. I ended up downloading the rest of the episode, and i gobbled each one as quickly as when they finished, leaving me hungry for more.
It really is worth watching. Unlike LOST, which bore the living guts out of my skin, they hardly have any annoying flashbacks. And the whole show really makes you wonder if they could really break out of prison. In fact, the plan is so brillant, you really just want to hug the scriptwriters.
Plusss, i love all the characters. Or rather, more like the inmates only. There's so much scarasm and funny quotes, plus, wentworth miller is hot.
A first glance at his name reminded me immediately of woolsworth- the name of a supermarket which u can find in places like England. I read that a long time ago from Enid Blyton's stories, apparently it's like our very own NTUC.
Speaking of Enid Blyton, we all know she's the famous children's writer of books like famous five, secret seven, adventurous 4, and the whole list of books like [ the magic clock n other stories] etc etc. But i recently realised that she was actually more well-liked becuase of Noddy.

Anyhoo, yes, i dig wentworth miller because he has this intense gaze that really captures your attention. That's his signature brood. And he's so cute when he's shy. Plus... i saw some video on youtube whereby he acted as some gay character. Spot on man...

And i went out with leetleet on friday to look for her workplace, which is super near kallang mrt. Super jealous becuz even though i worked at aljunied during sip, i still had to take a bus 7 stops down to work from the aljunied mrt station. Plus, she only starts work at 8.30am, whereas mine started at 7.30am. AND, she's getting paid 400 dollars more than i am.
Sometimes i think everything works in an ironic circle.
I'm at a loss for what has happened.

Let's just say, we started things off on a wrong foot, but we still achieved the required result in the end, lest the fact that my stomach disagreed with the flavours. Seriously, tasting ice cream mix is like, the grossiest thing close to drinking those stupid diet shakes. It's akin to eating oats. Ok, so maybe sweeter than oats, but maybe i was being fussy n all, but if its not frozen, then i'm nowhere near it.
Some groups had already started like, last week, and omg, there was this spaghetti group, which asked us to help them with sensory evaluation. It was quite good, but man, they are so fast, since they're doing sensory.
Hell, when more groups enter, it'll become some eating fest, and then, after the initial week, the hype would be gone, only to be replaced with dread. Well, anyhooo, as I mentioned, Death note's coming out soon. Gv has them up under the coming soon theme, but without the trailers, which is so suckish. I don't think i have been this hype for some movie in a long time. I mean, i wasnt that excited when harry potter premiered. In fact, i only liked harry potter after the first movie was released like, months later.
Happy happy. But I'm still feeling crapped since Japan gets to watch the 2nd instalment to the first movie in like November! Oh, i hope for a script change! I mean, yes being loyal to the manga is gooood, but by not killing a favourite character, which the book did, is also very goood. In fact, it would be more interesting so to speak.

To cap it, my brother doesn't know initials when he sees one. Yes, elmo tmx? Can i just die? Actually they named it TMX Elmo. Ok, no difference. But it's a bit revolving to see your own familiar initials in front of a bisexual red furball.
Apparently, its the latest toy in America, in fact, many claimed its sold out now. They call it Tickle-Me Elmo, and the X, is with reference to the version. It's the 10th version of the Tickle Me Elmo.
Ok, its still freakish Elmo, and the toy is pretty lame, but the toy does look a bit interesting, I mean, it doesn't vibrate like the last one - the horny bastard. Actually, i prefer the 3rd set of movements when u 'tickle' it for the third time.
Yeah well, the dog's reaction is pretty funny! But after 3 rounds, that bloody toy is anything but funny. It gets annoying. And it costs 40 US dollars, dubbing it, the toy every child will put on their christmas list. Yeah.... right.
